Getting Started

I do not accept applications for training, only your commitment!
I will commit to helping you, but you also must commit to pushing yourself with training and working within a reasonable diet.

Weight Lifting and training is discipline...mentally you must condition your mind for lifting to become an effective tool for muscle development, conditioning and overall wellness.  Weight training is extremely complex activity as the human body has numerous muscle groups throughout the body requiring exercise.

My responsibility is to outline various training programs to exercise and develop those muscle groups.

95% of the time diet or weight loss and body weight control are the major concerns of most people starting weight training.

We start by discussing your goals and expectation.  After listening to what your expectations are, we can discuss how I can help you obtain your goals.  Medical problems or limitations are also included in this discussion.  I will also ask what you expect from me.

I provide personal weight training in 3 different ways:
  • At my facilities using upper body, abdominal, and leg weight lifting equipment.  All of the equipment displayed on this website is in use in my gym
  • At a client’s club
  • At a client’s home
I have found that 5 or 6 lifting sessions are required for a person to acquire muscle isolation knowledge and the working knowledge to move from one exercise to another.

For weight training to be effective it should be done, at a minimum, twice a week (toning).  To see good muscle development - 3 times a week is recommended.

Working out is a great way to stay in shape and healthy.  Get information about many health related topics by using this online medical search engine today!  If you would like to learn more about a possible illness, use this great symptom search to find out information.
