The CSCS and NSCA-CPT examination review materials are designed to assist exam candidates as they prepare for earning one of the NSCA's Credentials of Distinction. These materials are also valuable additions to the professional libraries of strength and conditioning professionals, personal trainers, athletic trainers, physical therapists, educators, coaches, and sports medicine specialists.

While comprehension of the information presented in the review materials should increase the likelihood of passing the CSCS or NSCA-CPT certification examinations, using the materials does not guarantee a successful performance. The questions on the CSCS and NSCA-CPT examinations are developed from numerous resources in addition to these materials.

About the Author
As the certifying body of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), the NSCA Certification Commission offers two distinctive credentialing programs. The Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist® (CSCS®) credential is the certification of choice for professionals who design and implement strength-training and conditioning programs for athletes. The NSCA-Certified Personal Trainer® (NSCA-CPTsm) credential is an ideal certification program for those who train active and sedentary clients in one-on-one situations.

The NSCA Certification Commission's prestigious CSCS and NSCA-CPT certifications are the only nationally accredited certification programs in the fitness industry. To earn one of these internationally recognized certifications, candidates must pass a rigorous examination administered by an independent examination service.

The NSCA Certification Commission has earned accreditation from the esteemed National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA). This means that the NSCA Certification Commission has demonstrated an ability to develop and administer psychometrically sound certification examinations that effectively discriminate between qualified and unqualified professionals. The ability to identify competent people who possess a sound knowledge of the principles of strength training, conditioning, and personal training makes the NSCA Certification Commission’s credentials so valuable to employers and trainers alike.

Earning one of these highly respected credentials could significantly expand your career and income opportunities. Isn’t it time to accept the challenge and earn your Credential of Distinction?
