My background for personal weight training is:

  • 30 years of weight lifting experience
  • Bodybuilding Contest Experience:
    NPC North Star,
    November 10, 2007
    3rd in men's over 50
    Gopher State Classic Bodybuilding, April 2007,
    First in age group
    NPC Wisconsin Bodybuilding Championship
    May 2007, 4th in 50 year old Masters
    NPC Natural Classic Bodybuilding, June 2007
    First in age group
    Masters National Championship
    Pittsburg  PA. July 21st 2007  
  • Certified as a personal trainer and served as a triathlon coach in a local club
  • 8 years of cross country ski racing
  • 7 years of canoe racing
  • 5 years of triathlon competition
  • 4 1/2 years as dance instructor
  • 6 years as Instructor in adult education
  • 8 years in the Marine Corp with 2 tours of duty in Viet Nam.  2 years with the the U.S. Army. Capacity served were in communication, Infantry and Weapons Platoon Sergeant


Through the years I have won or been awarded over 30 medals and trophies.  Any successes I have achieved were based upon commitment, discipline and training. 

These are the same skills I want to transfer to the personal I train.  The coaching and encouragement aspect of training is not optional, but is part of the package...I want you to succeed and reach your goals.
